Over the course of 2.5 hours, Sarah will guide you through the fundamentals of drawing and watercolour painting landscapes and still life compositions at Sidney Myer Education Centre at Heide Museum of Modern Art
Weather permitting we will spend part of the class drawing from nature outside and part working indoors.
You will learn techniques such as accurate observation, shading, line, tone and composition and work with mediums including graphite, charcoal and watercolour.
This class is aimed at beginners who want a taster in drawing or intermediates who want a different take on their creative processes. Sarah's practice blends traditional and non traditional approaches to art- no experience in drawing or illustration is required.
With a focus on appreciating nature and making time to play, Sarah’s art classes embody creativity, community and connection.
