Join Sarah as she takes you through exercises and projects drawing, sketching and painting botanical and still life art/

Working from life, Sarah will guide you through the fundamentals of observational drawing and watercolour painting botanical and still life compositions. You will learn techniques such as accurate observation, shading, line, tone and composition and work with mediums including graphite, charcoal and watercolour.

This class is aimed at beginners who want a taster in drawing or intermediates who want a different take on their creative processes. Sarah's practice blends traditional and non traditional approaches to still life drawing - no experience in drawing or illustration is required. 

With a focus on appreciating nature and making time to play, Sarah’s art classes embody creativity, community and connection.

The hope is that each participant will find their own way within the class and have the confidence to go forward incorporating art and creativity into their daily lives.

Each student will take home a range of mixed media studies and their very own still life and botanical artworks.
